Continues to stay good!! I’ve been on 4 lakes in the past few weeks and Pines and Fork have been my favorites! Some big fish showing up all over. I’ve been catching them deeper this last week. Fishing 25-40 FOW and the fish are 16-28ft down depending on the lake! 1/4 oz bad shad and gingertruce Slab syndicate jigs on 11’ Jenko Kevin Rogers rods have been the ticket! Fish are super healthy all over. I have some weekend and weekdays open in early December if you want in on the action! I started fishing with Slewfoot about 1 year ago. This was my fifth trip, and I had the best time yet. It was about a perfect day. My dad never had fished Lake Fork until last week. This was on his bucket list, check. We caught a couple that tipped 2 lbs., check. Memories made with dad, check! The action was slow for the first hour and a half. Todd made a move to some deeper water, and for the next 3 hours we proceeded to put big fish in the cooler, one after another. Every tree had fish and the quality of these fish, let me tell you, they had big bellies full of shad. They couldn’t resist and ate that pretty jig that Todd tied on for me. It was funny one time when I pulled in a black crappie and I said disheartedly, “oh I got a small one.” Todd quickly replied laughing, “oh he didn’t mean that, fish. He’s sorry to call you ‘small’.” He put a tape on it, it was almost a 12”! We're skewering deer this week but back after the slabs next week! Fishing has been good when the wind cooperates! I have some Dec dates open!

Great report! We caught some PIGS on Tuesday Nice haul SlabbedSilly. I only started fishing in the fall last year. I was missing out on some great action! We're skewering deer this week but back after the slabs next week! Fishing has been good when the wind cooperates! I have some Dec dates open! Venison backstrap... mmm... The trip chasing the whitetails was a success! We are so blessed! I'm thankful that God blesses us to enjoy the great outdoors and provide delicious protein to our families.
