I never even thought about this. Maybe a good idea for many.

You can usually scroll to next house and look back on google map and see the blurred house.

Google Earth photos are so old... If I look at my house it doesn't show the garage we built 2 years ago... And it's already blurry... All you have to do is walk by/ drive by and you'll get more info than a photo... Dang even the thieves are getting lazy... Dan

They may be old where you are, but Google shows a picture that is maybe a year old at our place in Tennessee.

If they are smart enough to use google earth in their planning, they are probably smart enough to do drive by surveillance.

My house, built in 2019, isn't even there.

Yep.

The site shows date of photo. My home photo was 2 years old. They do update them from time to time.

Yep, unless you are the first owner and had it built, Zillow will show them a room by room layout. That way they have a pretty good knowledge of where to start looking, what type of door knobs and locks they have to defeat. Love my Double Key Deadbolts, you break the glass and reach through to flip the lever and there ain't one. Oh and good luck unscrewing the bolts, they are filled with clear epoxy. Makes it a pain to remove, but then how often do you have to change them out.

Google shows a pickup in the driveway of my house I traded in Feb of 2018.
