My wife was called to be with the Lord today. Got to be with her for her last tear and her last breath. No more pain, No more sorrow!
I would also like to apologize to everyone for my post over the last couple years, the name calling,the hot headed responses, etc and anything that may have hurt or offended anyone. I realize now, I had a lot of built up anger as it relates to my wife's journey with Alzheimer's. Today I am at peace and I'm better than that. I truly am sorry!

It's a terrible way to go. I've had to experience it twice. I pray you and your family can find comfort and peace for the loss. I know you are thinking of what all you could of done better for her, and there is probably some guilt you are feeling, but you did what you could, the sacrifices one has to go thru when a loved one goes thru this process are unbearable and especially for as long as this went on.

I am truly sorry for your loss, but I am glad you were able to be with her through her journey. Being a caregiver is a very difficult role to play and it's very taxing on one's heart and soul. Take care of yourself, sir.

Praying for pease for you, what you just went through is very, very difficult and painful. I watched my mothers brother decline with Alzheimer's and it took a toll on the whole family.
One of my wife's best friends is nearing the final stage of dementia/Alzheimers. My wife cries every time we leave from seeing her.
Thank you for being with her to the end.
