I'd eat them all if I was hungry and that's all I had. Heck would eat the spaghetti sauce and pears any time. I’ve eaten Manwich straight from the can when I was a young Airman and poor. I ate mustard sandwiches when that's all I had. mustard & pasta incredible Texture. Nice.

Sawhorse said he loads up big women there, which I always found a bit contradictory. I don't doubt it.

Unless you are clairvoyant or intimately familiar with a persons life history, you have no idea how that person came to be in need of something to eat, nor any of the facts surrounding the reason they are driving a particular car on a particular day. Just like I don't know anything about any of your lives or history so I can't say for certain that most of your free time is spent searching for something to gripe about, be judgmental about, and proffer a condescending solution to whatever it is that set you off, although it sure does appear so... I take it you have never volunteered at your local church's food bank. You really should try and do it sometime. Very eye-opening experience, from multiple perspectives. Not sure how you came to that first conclusion based upon my post, but thank you for making my point... I was in high school when I started volunteering with my church youth group going on mission trips, clown ministry at cooks children's and nursing homes, visiting the "shut ins" as they were called back then, and helping out the North Texas Food Bank and Tarrant Area Food Banks when they first started during my senior year, 1982. You are, however, correct that there are "multiple perspectives". Are there people who scam the system? Sure. Is every person seeking charity and/or assistance that wears nice clothes, or drives a nice car, or wears a nice watch scamming the system? No. Making assumptions about people you have never met is pretty dang arrogant, but it is ignorance that then applies that assumption to other individuals or entire groups of people they have never met. Usually through cynical, single minded generalizations made publicly in a feeble attempt to show self importance and awareness. What a miserable existence that must be.

mustard and crackers, ketchup sandwiches, and commodity cheese. pretty common for us growing up. we have a local food bank called "a hand up" locals call it "a hand out" folks line up for 4-5 blocks in some awful nice vehicles to get this free food. hell of alot nicer than my 06 dodge. SMH

Mostly a southern thing, but if you haven't tried a peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwich, you are missing out. Sounds deplorable, but its really good. Unless you put miracle whip on it, then its just freaking disgusting! Miracle whip is the devil!
