Ouch-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

That's what you get for trying to have fun.

Dang, bad news. Hope it's just a pulled muscle. From someone with two torn rotator's.

X2.
My next fix is a total replacement, as there wasn't much left on the second repair. Good luck.

I have had both operated on. Right shoulder just recently. It kills me when I try to sleep.

How does that even happen? Were you throwing a club?

Golf was never for me. I did like to drink beer and drive the cart tho. Haven’t played in years.

my wife had rotator cuff surgery several weeks ago. It hasn't been fun. Doc says at least a year before she's at 100%, and that's a big if.

I have a torn rotator cuff but it affected my throwing a ball more than my golf game.

Well the X-rays showed nothing was torn which was very good news. Doctor said it was probably a bad muscle strain, gave me a couple of shots and sent me on my way.

I took a full swing on an uphill lie and didn't choke up enough on the club and hit the ground with full force.

Hope not. My Bil is in recovery from rotator cuff surgery. It’s rough. Five months in a sling. No real sleep….and physical therapy painful.

yesterday was 4 weeks from my surgery. It has sucked.
4-6 months of PT minimum and 18-24 months to "full" recovery, maybe....
I have simple goals, I wish to be fishing by Feb.

Both shoulders have been done. For me, it was about a year to be back near normal. PT is painful. Just not fun. Sleep was difficult for a long time. I slept in a recliner for a month or two after the most recent surgery. Recovery depends a lot on how much damage had to be fixed.
