"the Roundup" fly fishing event is this weekend in College Station. If you're in the area, this is a very well done event. This will be my third year to attend. The event is free.

On Sunday, there is a "Gathering" of Casting Instructors. Which means, this event attracts the most casting instructors of any event in Texas. If you want some help with your casting, come out to College Station on Saturday. Five FFI certified Master Instructors and at least 16 FFI Certified Instructors plan to be helping on Saturday. The casting lessons are free on Saturday.

Speaking of the "Gathering", if you are interested in becoming a FFI certified instructor or are working toward certification, Sunday's event should not be missed. Opportunities like this one are not held in Texas very often.
