Ultrex are known for bad circuit board. Mine wouldn’t turn left at all only right. The remote would work it just fine. Bad circuit board

Wasn’t the steering circuit board in this case. Mounting screws backed out of the steering motor causing it to fall out and twist off the wires. Wires must have touched and it fried the main circuit board to add insult to injury. Not my ultrex but my partners. Crazy thing is you can’t but just the motor, have to order a whole steering assembly. Lucky we were able to save it and now just waiting on a circuit board.
