I told texasflycaster today that I had never heard of Bob Popovic until he died. I then watched the Mill House interview with him and gained a healthy respect for his being there at the start of fly tying associations. And collecting the history and documentation from that era. His cohorts were the core of the flyfishing world. I'm not a fly tyer, but I was impressed. RIP, Bob.
