I don’t care that Thrift was smoking, I was making fun of the fact that they have always tried to hide it. In this instance, dude lights one up, catches a fish and then spits the cigarette into the lake. Meanwhile Sprague is cussing the TM, runs to the back of the boats and snaps his rod, then throws the rod & reel. Thrift tries to calm Sprague down and Sprague instead tells Thrift that “he’s really starting to piss him off with that that BS”. Then proceeds to drop the f bomb along with multiple other comments about the POS trolling motor. All the while on live TV, it made for great TV and showed how great of a guy Sprague really is. All he needed was a bottle and pacifier at that point.

Might have been the best 30 seconds in TV fishing history, way better than the Ike meltdowns.

It’s reality of fishing. I think everyone of us have had those days. Shoot, I’ve had plenty of them. And if you can get me on a golf course, I promise you I’ll cuss and throw $hit. lol.

the only time I really cuss is when fishing. Nothing gets to me more when you miss a fish ( you set the hook like a madman), get hung up every other cast or get line into the trolling motor. Besides that, I am good...

Wish I could have watched the meltdown.. With the money they have on the line surprised we don't see more meltdowns..

We went to O.H. Ivie last Friday for the first time for a little 3-day getaway. We had no clue that MLF was going to be there. The fishing was terrible. We managed about 5 bass in two days, one being a 3-pounder. I personally tried everything but a Carolina rig. It was basically "cast 3 times, get hung up, cast 5 times, get hung up, on and on." We did run into some schooling whites Saturday evening that wad entertaining. We could have fished Sunday morning before we left, but I really didn't see any point.

No thanks, I watched that misery yesterday, I have no desire to watch it again. I think it was around the second period, might have been the middle/end of the first.

Found it, fun starts at the 3 hour 10 minute mark, I think Thrift thought Sprague was going to start whipping him with a rod, the dude has anger issues
