Anyone have any recommendations for a good weekday fly guide for the Guadalupe in mid November? Looking or someone that will be patient with my wife and hopefully get her on a few fish. . We went with a guy out of New Braunfels a couple of years ago. We caught some nice trout, but the guy was a jerk the entire trip. Constantly muttering under his breath, yelling, etc. Pretty sure the guy had some mental issues. It was enough to make my wife refuse to try fly fishing again until our recent Wyoming trip. Need someone that will work on her casting, but most importantly be patient and friendly.

Sounds like you need Alvin Dedeaux, at All Water Guides. IslandJim

I would check conditions first. IF they are putting off stocking Oklahoma for a month? Common sense tells me the DramaLupe could be suffering as well. I am checking on that though ....
