Looking for suggestions on where to take my trolling motor to have the threaded prop shaft replaced/repaired this week.
I called one of the Fork shops and they said they would have to replace the complete lower unit with a new one for $1,500.00. I was able to find where Lowrance offer a replacement Rotor Threaded Shaft Assembly for $300, so looks like it can be replaced. I just need to find a good shop to take it to. I appreciate any help in advance.

Thank You!
Brian

Give S2 Marine in Quitman a call.

Fishing is not a matter of life or death,
it's much more important than that!

Sorry to hear that Brian

You might try Nautical Mile on 155
I got my Ultrex there and they have done a few repairs on it there and were always quick and great to deal with.
I’m not sure if they are a Lowrance service center though?

Nautical Mile has done great work for me as well. If they don't work on Lowrance TM's they will point you in the right direction.

What happened to the shaft, if you don't mind me asking?

I appreciate all the help!
The nut froze up and I bent the shaft trying to get if off, stupid mistake on my part!
Steve, I bought the shaft assembly before I saw your post. What would you charge to install it?

Thank You,

Brian

That happened to my Lowrance trolling motor also. I actually called Lowrance because it was their stainless nut on their stainless bolt that seized up. They warranted the repair for me.

Steve at SS Marine is the real deal…he fixed my TM problem after Lake Fork Trolling Motor on 154 mis-diagnosed it 3 times, costing me an unnecessary $200.
