We got a WE knife with natural G10 scales. I'm going to use Rit Synthetic in tropical teal.

Dye full strength is 24.75ml to 3qts tap water per instructions on the bottle. We're going to work up to that. Hung by stainless wire and a paint stick. It should only take a 30 seconds bath. Anymore and the tropical teal goes green. I want a light translucent look. Not too dark and actually the color teal as shown on the bottle of dye. Be warned. This RIT synthetic will dye anything. Including the stove top. Don't let it drip on nothing.

First Pic is 12ml dye to 3quarts water. The second is 15ml. Black spacer darkens the color. They're done. Soak time was me dunking them in and out. Constantly watching the color. I'd guess total time was 30-45 seconds.

I do like that color. We just remodeled our kitchen and there’s lots of green.

I didn't like the color until I saw the finished product.
Nice work, looks damn good.

Good Luck,
