I currently have a Lowrance Hook5 that came mounted by the cowling on a Tracker Pro Team 190 TX. I want to upgrade to a side scan. Is it possible to tie a pull string on the current transducer cable and pull it out without removing a bunch of stuff on the boat? Ideally, I’d like to pull the old cable out with a pull string attached to it and pull the new cable back through. I’m pretty sure that’s too easy but it doesn’t hurt to ask. 🤞🏻

Yes you can. Get you one of these. Much easier to remove the old and install the new cables.

Non conductive wire puller.
