I'm l am looking into a pond prowler but my question is once the appointment is make to get it registered. Is the registration instant I know you have to buy the number decals. But once everything is paid is the boat ok to be on public water once everything is paid at the office or do I need to wait for something in the mail.

They'll give you a receipt. Keep it and that'll keep you out of trouble.

When you go to register they will give all paper work except title. Go get numbers an ready to go. All this depends on whether or not you put motor on it, even trolling motor. If human powered only all you need is receipt.
