Nice. I have an Improved Meyer. Counted 18 large lemons on it the other day. They have just started to turn yellow.

Nice score. So how quickly will a tree that size begin to produce fruit?

Mine was a litter bigger then yours when I got it and the next year I got 3-4 lemons. So 2-4 years seems avg. Your big one looks like there are two in that pot or the smaller one is a sucker off the main down towards the base. I'd separate them or cut that sucker off. I like to keep mine trimmed up to the graft point and keep any suckers below cut off. Then I selectively trim as I feel like so the main canopy isn't all intertwined and a mess. I removed the top layer of soil and exposed the root flare really well and repotted it. Same as you would do with an inground tree. I keep mine in the garage during the winter and set it right outside the garage during warm spells then take it around back to the garden most of the year. Mine blooms really heavy in Jan/Feb and makes the garage smell great. Days you can set it our when it's blooming the bees love it. It's been really easy to care for. I also have a Persian lime that I treat the same way.

I'll measure the pot tonight. I probably need to go up a little on it. I know I need to up my lime this spring. It's in a smaller pot. I have not worried about the soil Ph on it. I'll give it a light feeding every 30-45 days or so of a water soluble 20-20-20. When I do that I use 1-1.5gal watering can. I want enough water that it reaches down to the roots but doesn't leak out of the bottom and leaching out the fert I just gave it. Sometimes I'll let that set a couple/three days before I water it again with just water. Sometimes when I'm out applying granular fert to the flowerbed or lawn I will sprinkle a little in the pot Salt Bae style.

When you hand water with a canaster you can add a pinch to say 1/8 teaspoon of citric acid to your water to help with your Ph if you want. I have a buddy in SoCal that has a huge lime tree in ground in high 7+ ph soil and it does great. You should be able to take that out of the pot and wash the roots off real good and separate the two plants and repot each. My pot is 22" diameter. Probably need to upgrade to a 26-30" and I think it would be fine in that size forever. Mine is a little thin right now. I haven't watered it as much as I should. With a little care it will be thicc in no time. They handle neglect pretty well.
