What’s the ball park price for powering a boat with 250 SHO or Merc? And what is the best way to sell the current motor on a boat?

Call Jaco’s Marine is Lawrenceburg TN. Best prices on Merc’s in the country. Yamaha no idea. Sell your current rig here on TFF. Try to coordinate your install with sale and install of your old motor. It sounds tough but I did it. It can happen

Call Steve at S2 Marine in Quitman Texas! I just got my boat repowered by him and he really knows his stuff and will have the best prices to get it done. They're a Platinum Mercury dealer so usually have the motors in stock. I got multiple quotes when I got mine done and everyone kept telling me "you might need this or you may need that but not sure" but when I talked to Steve he knew exactly what I needed off the top of his head and had a great price so it was a no brainer for me. I'd like to also say the work they did was very neat and tidy. He runs a top notch outfit and I recommend everybody there.

A Yamaha will run almost $2k more than a Merc plus controls.
