My son lost Mrs RayBob's spare key FOB while we were in Canada. He ordered one and then downloaded a program to his laptop and programed the new one by plugging his laptop into her RAV.

I got a napa to reprogram a fob for a tenth of the price a dealer wanted.

This is good to know. I always thought you could only get a key fob from a dealer.

I bought fobs on eBay, had Walmart guy cut them for free, had them programmed at A1 locksmith kiosk in east Dallas for s little off the books cash.
