Saw someone selling toilet paper on FB Marketplace. I guess they joined all the nuts and stocked up and now they have a 3+ year supply.

Now, every union is going to think they can do the same. It's election time. Get it while you can get it. Because come afterwards. Nobody is gonna care.

Unions suck. All of them. I work those lazy mfers everyday now. They work harder trying to get out of work. It’s pathetic I got my very first taste of unions while doing an equipment install at age 19 in a GM assembly plant in Fresno CA. It was an eye opening experience to say the least. Permanantly left a real bad impression that's lasted to this day.

I tried it with IBEW76....lasted 2 1/2 years. More breaks, meetings and being told to slow down than it was worth. The medical for family was the best part.

I saw a picture of him falling over on a bicycle, getting tripped by an invisible whatever, squatting to take a dump in his diaper, turning the wrong way to shake a dignitary's hand, getting lost on a stage . . . but involved in meaningful diplomacy ... nope, have never seen a pic of that from that pedifile imbecile.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

We went on strike once for 1 day in 3 summers I worked there. Good money, I got lots of OT and worked holidays at 2.5.

You know this is a set up right? If Trump wins the election, they are going to drop this right on his lap to try and cripple the economy. Right it down, this will happen.

If Trump wins the election maybe he will do something similar to what Reagan did in 1981 with the air traffic controllers that went on strike.

They are setting up a conflict that doesn’t need to be set up

They have agreed on the raise at a ridiculous 62% over 5 years. They will work thru the other issues. It’s going to inflate the price of goods coming through the ports. All the other costs they agree on such as limiting AI is just tacked on to the price of everything.
3 to 4% a year would be reasonable. These aren’t highly skilled jobs.
Middle class and poor continue to see their money be worth less and less.
The strike was purposefully timed before the election. They knew the Dems would twist the arms of the Ports to make a deal.
