To all who spread conspiracy theories—thank you. I made out like a bandit during Stop the Steal. There was an enormous amount of money thrown at tech companies in 2020 and beyond for the purpose of uncovering voter fraud. This came partly from both major parties and legal teams defending news outlets and alt-right influencers involved in lawsuits with huge settlements at risk. Over $1 billion has been paid out in those settlements so far.
As a longtime tech geek and 20-plus-year member of this forum, I want to offer a friendly word of caution to my fellow conservative-minded outdoorsmen: the fallout from all the tech monitoring is far from over.
Over a million of our wealthiest families with second homes are now being monitored because they are registered to vote either in a second state or county where they own additional properties.
While it’s not illegal to be registered to vote in more than one place, it is a felony if you vote in more than one location. Previously, this was very hard to monitor—now, it’s simple. The fallout will not be pleasant for some who think they are above the law.
Being registered in two places happens naturally when people move out of state. Those people eventually get dropped from the voter rolls along with individuals who pass away. This is the vast majority of those purged from voter rolls.
What isn’t talked about enough is people who own more than one house:
- Over 10 million registered voters have a second home address.
- During the 2020 election, there were over 7.5 million second homes in the USA.
- The vast majority of these voters lean Republican.
In the past, it was harder to verify if someone voted more than once, but now, myself and many fortunate voters with multiple homes/ranches are being monitored closely. Surveillance technology has become a net that’s harder to slip through.
This is a warning to my fellow privileged citizens: I know firsthand the surveillance tech that is monitoring this situation. I highly encourage you to drop yourself from voter rolls in any second-home locations where you might be registered.
While I'm sure none of you would vote in two places, you could get caught in a roundup and accused of voting twice. If that happened, 2025 would be a very bad year. It’s very hard—and extremely expensive—to prove that something didn’t happen. The easy solution? Drop yourself from any second voter roll ASAP.
Due to NDA reasons, I won't be following up publicly to this post or going into more specifics, but the risk is very real. Again—just a warning from a friend in tech.
