took this pic this morning of fish on my L-X96 Fish Finder. Was set at 79% of sensitivity so What do you think was under me? Lots of Sandies or? The bottom 15 feet was solid black.

I'm going to take a huge guess and say much colder water and could be a thermocline, though I have never seen it like that. But then again I don't have as nice of a unit as yours.

The bottom is at 31.1 feet, right, so the "object" is at about 14-15 feet? Just guessing since I don't remember but isn't the RH thermocline at about 20 feet these days? I say giant school of fish, especially if the boat was stationary at the time. Cool regardless.

Looks like Ill have to take jimbo Out next week--Hes been whinning cause Ive been out four mornings this week and he cant get away. clap
I did try to throw a cast net out to see if it was a big school of shad but came up with nothing. I think it might be the thermocline?
