Hi all,
I was thinking of taking my girlfriend and her two kids to Lake Buchanan this weekend and was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to stay and fish. I don't have a boat so we will be fishing off the bank or a pier. A buddy told me there is a place that has cabins and a lighted pier but didn't know the name. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Ruben

Silvercreek lodge is a good fishing spot with cabins to rent, it has a good pier.

The Hi-Line Resort has cabins with a pier and crappie barge. Never stayed here, but I hear it's very nice.

Council Creek has a nice grassy park for the kids. It's up the creek in a shallow area, very secluded and protected from winds and waves.

Paradise point has a crappie barge with a lighted walk around deck and restaurant. It's very nice.

Blackrock park is on the main lake with a beach like water front, air conditioned, bunk beds, very affordable, but you have to call in advance to try to get a spot.

Cedar Point is on the main lake and has a long pier into the main body of the lake in the big water. Not sure how the fishing is here.
