Hey guys, are there any crappie in Fayette County Lake? It just occurred to me that I've been fishing the lake for twenty or more years and have never heard about anyone catching any crappie.

I have seen a lot post over the years about Fayette and I have even fished Fayette a lot over the years and have never seen or heard of any crappie caught. May be the lake water temperature are to hot during the late spring, summer, and fall months. Just my two cents. 2cents

There hasn't been a crappie caught from Fayette since the 1980's.

According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife, crappie was stocked in 1994, 1996 and 1997. Been fishing the lake for several years and never caught one.
