Got this area here that I've pulled all the out of control Ivy out...Thinking about planting blue bonnets and the later in the spring planting Calladiums and Elephant Ears... What's yall opinion on that idea ?

I'd plant a native Muscadine grape vine in that spot. In the wild they look like scraggly. When taken care of, it's a furious vine. It'll cover the wall in 2 years. Extremely hardy. Doesn't need that much water.
You might get enough grapes for wine. That's if you can keep birds away from it.

I guess it'll have to be what plants will live there with the amount of sunlight. If it's 6 or less hours of full sun. Then the elephant ears. Christmas cactus, herbs like thyme and rosemary.
If that space gets more then 6 hours of full sun light. It'll cook a elephant ear. Blue bonnets can take full sun but they are short lived.

Pansies for right now. Run over to Covingtons in Rowlett off 66 right by 190. They can help tell you what will live for now and then in the spring. https://www.covingtonnursery.com/
