I broke my paddle while loading the kayak; my fault for being sloppy. Has anyone repaired their paddle with epoxy? I realize it will not be two pieces but thats ok with me; for now.

I don't see why you couldn't in a pinch but seriously....how much is a paddle to replace now? I know Bidenomics has jacked up prices since the last time I bought a replacement but a good paddle is pretty important on most yaks. I'll stick to the Mirage 360 personally.

I've broke several running whitewater. I tried the repair thing and never got one to hold, but it MIGHT work for slack water paddling.

It broke where the two connect; female side. I discovered after it while preparing to launch; so do I continue to kayak, wade, or go back home? Going home and leaving the kayak was no option. So, I launched but did not venture too far out because I did not want to loose one side due to the paddle not snapped it.
I will buy another in the near future but just wanted the feed back, so thanks for all that responded. One red and flounder made up for the broken paddle.

Never go anywhere, and I mean anywhere without at least one roll of duct tape! My preference is Gorilla tape.
Just one more cast!

There is that fiberglass tape for sheet rock, or even fiberglass straps. Mabey glue it then wrap that around and fiberglass it. Worst thing that can happen is it doesn't work.
