Anyone ever use Kahle hooks? Do they work like circle hooks, J-hooks or somewhere between?

Kahle hooks are easier to bait, self set pretty good and setting the hook won't generally just pull the hook out of the fish's mouth.

I like Kahle hooks for smaller - eater fish. I use them more in the spring and summer, when fishing for eater blues (still drifting most of the time) and also when fishing for hybrid. 2/0 up to maybe 6/0 depending on what and where.
Winter - trophy fishing, I will move to big 10/0 circle and big baits. Some stinger rigs, etc. I am just looking for trophy fish during the winter - always drifting.
Good luck all,
Ken
