You should never leave a charger hooked up all of the time. Yes, I know that some people do it; but some people also kill themselves and some people are drug addicts, doesn’t mean they are right.

The BMS will cut-off charging as-needed.

The NocoGenius charger can stay plugged in, and after fully charged, will automatically go to a monitoring phase, taking care of the health of the battery, until youre' ready to go...( the minn kota on board charger does the same thing...)......I use them both for my LiTime batteries....no problems at all...

Lithium batteries hold a charge. Charge them to 100% after use and unplug the charger. My boat sat unused for several months. Fishing tomorrow so I checked lithium batteries using Bluetooth. Both TM batteries at 100%. Not so much for AGM cranking battery so I had to hook up charger.

About two years ago, I bought a 100 AH, 12 V lithium battery for my live scope set up, and it has been really good. I ordered it from a company called select solar in Sulphur Springs. It was $329. However, they want to charge you a $100 shipping fee as they claim it is hazardous material which I think is a bogus charge. The thing I like about it most is how it stays fully charged for days and doesn’t budge off of 13.1 V The thing I do not like about it is how bulky and heavy it is as my live scope set up is portable, and I take it from my boat here in Texas to my boat in southern Illinois. There are other lithium options. I have seen online at the same price point to where you do not have to pay the $100 shipping fee.

Noco makes great products, very durable and pretty reasonable prices as well. I’m glad someone suggested them to me several years ago.
