The one in Greenville is good. I've been to others that were hit and miss. But largely their portions are good, the food is good, service is good, and price is reasonable.

The one in Temple is very noisy. Bad acoustics I guess and the Birthday singing employee quartet is very annoying.

I get its all about management but the local Roadhouse's are freakin awesome. Best sirloins you can buy and fairly cheap. Burgers and fried chicken are great too!

I don't know her hours; but she is most certainly closed when she gets her hair done.

Consistent pretty much anywhere we have been, not as expensive as fine dining, and far better than fast food! We prefer to cook at home and of course home cooked is better but we are busy folks and a meal out has to happen some times...
See you on the lake and have a great day!

I went in to the one in Tyler a couple of months ago... hadnt been to one in 10 years.. it was packed. Food was good.. ate at the bar.. couple of other traveling sales reps there. I think it was the layout that gets people to go there... you could see a lot of stuff going on from the bar. just a very welcoming place when you walk in.

I've done the math, and going to most restaurants makes no sense. 20 minute drive time to the restaurant. 20 minute drive time back from the restaurant. 10 minutes parking/table wait time. 20 minutes minimum food wait time. There is the value of the social experience of going to a restaurant.....which is usually far more interesting at quirky/unique family owned establishments.

I got a Big Mac meal and a cheeseburger the other day and it was $13.00
Few days later went to chicken express to split a meal with my wife. We got the 7 piece tender meal and two extra sides. I am pretty sure it was $30.00
You can get a good steak, fries, and roll for cheaper than that at roadhouse
Roadhouse offers the Early dine offer on Thursday which gives the discounted entrees from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The price of these specials are $10.99

TFF has the pickiest eaters in the world. If it’s not Bob’s steak house and $100 a plate they won’t eat it. I prefer Eddie V’s. Better selection and better sides. And yes, some of us are that picky. Instead of eating out every week, go once a month and make it a nicer place. Generic food isn’t worth $40/person, but good food at $100/person is. If you’re going to treat yourself, make it worthwhile.
What a maroon!

We eat Roadhouse probably once a week, it is one of if not the only restaurants in town that you can consistently get a good meal at a decent value. You can get a 6oz. Sirloin with a house salad and a loaded sweet potato for $16, or you can go to McDonalds and get a kids meal for about the same price. The wife usually picks it up to go so the atmosphere isn't an issue.
