I have some trips coming up and haven't been there since late June, so I met a buddy of mine, and we ran and checked it out. We fished both arms and caught fish on both. Fish are healthy and biting, but we had to cover alot of water for quality fish. First fish was a 2.06 on my scale, there was groups of black crappie around the base of stumps in 10-14' and on shallow brush but they were small and my lines wore off my cooler so we stuck with the whites on timber. We threw 4-5 back between 1.85 and 2.06. All those were probably 2 pounders on a certified scale. We kept fish for the Brian Sowers tournament at LOP Oct 5th. Had 2.5 gallons of fillets. We used 1/8oz Bad Shad and GingerTruce jigs from Slab Syndicate tipping with minnows off and on. We caught fish from 10-28 FOW with fish suspended down 8-14' mostly. I have a couple weekend and some weekday dates left in September and October if you want to fill the freezer! It's only gonna get better!

Wish I could be off the lake for 3 months and still catch them like that,what days do you have in Sept open because we decided not to fish Lake of the Ozark and possibly do a trip.

I have Sunday the 29th open 30- Oct 2nd. Then Oct 6th. Let me know!! Heck do a day at Fork and a day at Pines! They’re both close enough.
