I'll consolidate the two reports as it feels like I fished 2 different lakes!

Saturday:Lake Fork Report. Sat Sept 14.
We caught 3 unders by 7:30am. Fished shallow spinnerbait near hydrilla. Bass were not having it most of the day. We threw everything at them and they were not biting. Parts of the lake has a thick thermocline which made for tough fishing conditions but the bite picked up at sunset and a bit after. Ended the night with a 7.6lber on a power shot, wacky roboworm. Caught it right at the docks off Lake Fork Marina & Motel. When it’s tough fishing during the day sometimes the night bite really picks up.

Sunday: Lake Fork Sunday September 15th, 2024 Report.
Lake completely changed from yesterday. Overcast and warm and windy today. Bass were actively feeding in 6-12’ of water. Crankbaits and rattle traps worked good this morning. Caught about 8 fish by noon and biggest was a little over 6.5lbs on a crankbait in 6’ of water by a stump.
Fast moving baits worked well, also caught a couple on a Texas rigged fluke. Great day for fishing today. Even heard Joe Casey Shipley and Chris Semchenko caught some nice ones after I left today. The lake is heating up. 🔥
