Can’t find white bass and hybrids at still house. Where are they ?

Stillhouse has not been stocked with hybrids and whites are elusive. Deep water flats would be a good place to start. Don't fish unless your electronics show schools are present.

I've fished Stillhouse for 33 years and the time from late Aug. to early Dec. is always tough for whites on Stillhouse. I did a 5-hour scouting trip there on 05 Sep., catching 5 fish at each location, then moving on. I only found four productive locations and none of them had enough fish to convince me that I'd do better there than on nearby Belton. As BeltonBill mentioned, hybrid are not stocked in Stillhouse. There are a few landed each year which got there by "midnight stocking" or being washed in from private ponds during flooding. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

I don't fish on Stillhouse, but is the bite usually tough during this period in general, or just this lake? Perhaps others can chime in with experience on their respective lakes throughout Texas.
