Well i cracked the screen on my Garmin 126sv and would like to replace/fix the screen. Called Garmin and of course they will only replace if its a warranty issue but offered a 10% discount on a new one for 2700$. Guess they don't fix them so you have to but a new one???....................
Anyone on here know of a company that will replace the screen?

I saw that and mentioned that to the Garmin rep and he had zero answer after offering me one for 2700,,,oh and a 10% discount ? I think there may a bit of a disconnect at the Garmin customer service on this topic. I found a company in south Texas that may be able to replace the screen. I will update when and if it works out,
Again! totally my fault on the damage with this unit, just sucks that the company won't fix it or have a service to do so and doesn't sell the replacement screens so someone else can. if I can't get it fixed then it's a boat anchor with 1 year use:(

Sounds like Garmin quoted you an Ultra2. The one on sale at BPS and Cabela's is the discontinued model Ultra 126sv.

Not sure a screen protector would have help with a weight smacking it but it crossed my mind......of course not hitting it in the first place with a weight might work also i have a few good leads and i hope it works out, ill post if it does! Not bashing Garmin BTW, just sucks that they wont fix broken screen when so many have the same issues. Love the graph!

I was always sceptical of screen protectors but put them on all my graphs a few years ago anyways. One of my Helix 12ās on the console took a direct hit with a 1/4 oz tungsten weigh from my partner on a missed hookset. Shattered the screen protector but the glass on the graph was unscathed. Iām a firm believer now.

We definitely recommend screen protectors such as Graph Glass. It's an added layer of protection.

There is a company called Clear Cast that is supposed to be able to repair them. I have been on a waitlist for 5 months. Received email yesterday that they still have not sourced a supplier for the glass on a Garmin 122/126. I ordered from BPS/ Cabela's for the $1,499.99. That is the best price out there... If you find someone, please share as I will still have one that needs repair.

The RMP graph glass is cheaper but also thinner than the Precision so may take that into consideration

Thanks, i may do the thin screen protector for now to try and keep moisture out of it. Graph still works fine, just cracked.
Ill update when or if i find someone to fix it.

Not sure it will adhere without bubbles under with the cracks there, report back once you try. Be careful with the thinner RMP ones, they can crack in installation if you flex it too much. You can take it off an re-use it if careful once your new graph comes in
