 Nighttime catfishing in Central Texas

I'm looking for a good spot along any of the rivers or lakes in Central Texas (Killeen/Fort Cavasos area) for nighttime catfishing. The US Army Corps of Engineers parks along Stillhouse and the Lampasas river west of the the lake close at 9pm. The spot will have to be a public access spot as I don't want to intrude on private property, and I don't know any of the owners.
