Reneau Tackle will build their rods with a Palmer grip. It moves the trigger back so you can palm the rod and reel more comfortably. Some folks love it and others don’t. I myself have not tried a Palmer grip so I can’t comment about how it feels to use one sorry.

Yeah I have a powertackle rod with a palm handle but I forgot that it has a palm lol. I just couldn’t figure out when I held every other rod why it wasn’t comfortable. Lmao
