I bought a pack of 10 rattle floats that were just clear plastic. I painted a couple red, a couple yellow, one black and one of them I spread glue on it and rolled it in glitter. I told my wife that I was going to put a red hook on the center eye of my glitter bomb so I could catch 2 fish at once. Wives being what they are, I don’t think she believed me. I took a friend fishing today, got my secret weapon out, and put it on a rod for him. Again…I am validated!

Thanks. He was happy with it. We kept a smaller one for him to eat and released this one. It was his first time to drift and I think he’s sold on it. He said “I think I’m getting a bite”. I told he’d know it when he was. 😁 I don’t know how long he drug that little one along (he actually was getting a bite) on the float hook before the bigger one hit the bait. The bait follows about 9” behind the float so the little one probably thought he was done when the other one hit.
