When going to a new body of water that you’ve never fished before, what color jigs/ribbontails do you always make sure to take with you that has always produced no matter what water quality?

Bad shad would be the one jig I would use if I could only have one. Throw cinnamon/chart in there. Purple/chart and white/chart and that’s my main 4. I use dark gray/blue and an orange/yellow and chart/black in muddy water. I probably have 200 colors and use 4-6 99pxt of the time.

Gar I don’t want to be picky but that is the ugliest jig I have ever seen!

I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

Thank you machinist for your honest opinion!
Jiglyf jigs are not made to catch fishermen. They are made to catch fish

It’s ugly but I’ll be honest with ya, a lot of times uglier baits work better. Crankbaits with the paint beat off of them, ugly hand ties, some of my best fly fishing wet flies were the imperfect and ugly looking ones.

Popcycle
Showtime
Bad shad
Gingertruce

These are 4 of my favorites. All available from Chris at Slab Syndicate. Couple folks asked for pictures of jigs. I figured this would be easier! Bad shad got chomped on today!!
