 HDS12 vs HDS16 live best for AT

I was wonder if anyone has changed from HDS live 12 to HDS live 16 and how do you
like the image? This would be for Lowrance AT on bow for crappie fishing.
I was thinking the picture might not have as much detail as the 12?
Thoughts from those who have made the change? Thinking the 16 would have larger screen pixels.
I read Texas fishing all the time but don't post much.
I am in Houston so use 2Cool mostly.

I did exactly that and went from a 12 to a 16 HDS Live. 100% the right decision. Your shouldn't see any difference at all in your actual image other than everything being larger and easier to focus on. I definitely recommend going to a 16"

I’ve never seen Lowrance but I would love to trade my 12†Garmin in for a 16â€. Can see your bait way better casting at distance on the 16 vs the 12.

Just upgraded my Helix 12" for a 15" solely for Mega 360. Talk about overbearing but worth it with my old eyes.

The 16 is far better for image because of the Resolution and is full HD
Live or Pro 12 1280 x 800 resolution.
Live or Pro 16 1920 x 1080 Full HD
The AT2 with more elements which is better detail and range 150 vs 100 for AT1 Then the Resolution and full HD brings it out for our human eyes to see the detail with range.

Thanks for the feedback. Great news!
This will be a Live 12 for a Live 16 change.
The Pro units are just too expensive for now.
Should be able to pic up a 16 for a pretty good price.
