Good morning, what brand of regular batteries you have found to be the best?

I've got 2 Interstate marine deep cycle lead acid batteries that are 7 years old and still working. That said, I am going to change to lithium soon.

If I needed new batteries I would go lithium, if for no other reason than the weight.

I just put lithium batteries in my boat 2 months ago and they are less expensive than the blue top Optima’s I was currently using. The company is located in Sulphur Springs.

I use Interstate on my cranking batteries and have never had an issue with interstate, but i upgraded my live scope to a Ionic 12v 50Ah lithium battery running a Garmin 126SV and my 24v Ultrex trolling motor is on 2 - 12.8v 100Ah power queen lithium batteries.

Power Queen for the price cant be beat it is just as good as my Ionic and actually maybe performs a bit better. I think i paid around $220 per Power queen 100 AH and around $300 for the ionic 50Ah.

If you go the lithium route I'm sure others can chime in but Yamaha doesn't recommend on cranking battery.

Additionally its better to get the Bluetooth versions so you can get real time data on an app from the battery to your phone!

I hope that's not too much information.

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up getting them from bass Pro with the three-year warranty.

I don’t think lithium batteries will hold up for cranking, other devices- yep. Starters take a lot of juice to last.
