Go after Nike if they wore Nikes to commit the crime...
Go after Toyota if they drove a Toyota to commit the crime...
Go after the bag manufacture they used to conceal the weapon to commit the crime...
Can go on and on....Will not solve a thing...
But what will curb it...
Hard time for parents who allow access to firearms for kids on the FBI watch list and etc...You know when your kid is not all there...
If perp is 18 and purchased their on firearm hang em in a tree at the court house swiftly...

No its not- the bar tender is literally serving the person getting drunk- the transaction is happening immediately- you’d need the gun and ammo manufacturers handing the perp the weapon in the school lobby for this to be remotely close. So how did he get the gun in? Blame the school as much or more than anyone. It’s cheaper to put guards on every door than lose lawsuits.

Of course the consumer bears responsibility, but an approach like this expands the responsibility and liability to the provider.

And that concept is BS and should never have become a thing. YOU are responsible for what YOU do, not a bartender, gun manufacturer, car manufacturer, etc.

In a perfect world maybe, but this approach has been effective and accepted.

I would say it is more like going after the liquor manufacturers. Going after the ammo retailers would be analogous to going after the bartender.

But whatever, every time there is a mass shooting the left will come out with the ban guns, ban ammo, ban ammo and gun sales, sue all the manufacturers of guns and ammo, yada, yada.
