Another thread made me wonder.

What kind of adult male does not own a truck??? Anybody else here not own one? I don’t understand how you could get by without one

1Shart owns one of those Subarus with a small bed, but I think he still in transition. Does that count as a truck?

I honestly don’t know how any family makes do without a truck or at least a large SUV in the fleet.

If it can carry four 2x4s, a piece of particle board, and a bottle of Elmer’s wood glue to construct a fine German kitchen table, I’m going to say it counts

My girlfriend had a small SUV and was always borrowing my truck to haul something. Last year she bought a new truck. Made me mucho happy.

We went to a mid-sized suv, but I haven’t had a truck since 2007 or so. just don’t need a truck anymore

I don't have one. I've had a company car for 15+ years.
Go ahead and make fun of me...Subaru Outback. I don't care because it's all free gas, insurance, maintenance, etc...
I'm about to turn in my seventh one and get another.
You'd be surprised how much stuff I can put in one with the seats folded down.
I do have a 6×12 trailer if I need to haul something big.
I wish I had a truck but just can't justify the expense when I can drive the Subaru all I want for free.

That arent far off. If they can add a low range transfer case- up the tow capacity about 1k pounds then it would be a solid choice- decent room in the backseat. Make it sit a little bit higher as well…
