Decided to chance it today with the rain & never got a drop on the lake, but it did rain on me all the way home. Got on the water before daybreak & fished til noon. Spent the 1st hour fishing for bass & got one 3 pounder early. Then fished for gils til on 3 different spots until around 11 am & stopped at 100 fish. In the last hour I fished for bass caught 3 with the biggest going 6.1 pounds....that really made my day & nothing hurts when I get one like that in the boat. All gils caught on Gulp Alives various colors & all bass caught on a Tsunami swimbait in Black Back Shad color. Everything released to fight another day...

Thanks T Bird & pop...Shoulder feels pretty good & wrist is better too...dang fingers are still frozen, but now that I learned how to set the hook with the left hand/shoulder & reel with the right, things are looking up.
