I honestly have never broken a Loomis or a Falcon ! I've broken 2, both my fault. Used the Expeditor program with no problems. Same here. I have 20+ Loomis rods and have broken 2 in 30+ years, both my fault

The only rod I have ever had break was a high end Shimano that I bought at Cabela’s. It broke right at the cork on the handle on the very first hook set. I carried it back to Cabela’s and they went back to the rod rack and brought me a new one. I didn’t even have to leave the counter?
I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

I found the first Loomis rod I ever owned. :roflma: It had a broken tip, the last 4 inches on an 8+ Greenwater. Posted about finding it on local fishing website in Tampa Bay area 20+ years ago... no one claimed it. Took it to a tackle shop and wanted them to put a new rod tip on it.. owner said hell no, I will get you a new one. I tried to talk him out of it as I told him it was found. He insisted... Had me a brand new one quick. Been a big fan ever since.. and still one of my favorite rods for inshore fishing.

I have used the Expeditor program several times without any real issues. I do think it is a lot longer than it used to be. If I remember correct they used to send you a replacement in just a couple of days. Those days are long gone I'm afraid. I have had some time issues with Sage fly fishing taking a long time these days. Thankfully a broken rod is not something that happens very often and I have so many rods being short one doesn't matter at all.
ETA to answer the original post title, you are damn right you really want to buy a GLoomis. They make the best bass fishing rods in the business.
