One DPD officer was shot and killed, and two others were shot. Following a car chase from south Dallas to Lewisville, the suspect was shot and killed in another shootout. There is currently news all over the DFW TV stations.

One of the two wounded officers is in critical condition and the other seems to be in good condition.

Northbound I-35E is closed in Lewisville at Business 121 because of the investigation of the site where the suspect was shot.
