just left the ramp coming back from work. the one on the west side is the only one open. the dock is partially still under water. water level is right at the top of ramp so be very careful!!put my trolling motor in shop yesterday..dang it!!!!!

outstanding since I have an annual pass for it and it is way closer than Hidden Cove

Never launched there before. Anyone know what time they open? How much? Is it relatively safe to leave vehicles?

I'm wondering about the parking. I've been by there but never launched. I remember the parkin to be hard to find but there could be something i missed.

I received our Hickory Creek News Letter today and on page 6 this is what I found: Notice! To cover growing maintenance costs in Arrowhead and Point Vista Parks, the Town of Hickory Creek has changed the day use/boat ramp fee from $3.00 to $6.00 and the annual boat ramp pass from $20.00 to $35.00 for Hickory Creek residents and from $35.00 to $50.00 for non-Hickory Creek residents. The cost for the purchase of an additional boat ramp pass along with the purchase of a first boat ramp pass remains at $5.00 for either resident or non-resident of Hickory Creek.

Michael Todd That is an idea but I do not frequent Lewisville much any more the traffic is too heavy. 6.00 is still a reasonable amount.

I never had a problem with safety there. Park is patrolled regularly by local police.

texas sage, i got that letter also. fly, right now its still shows 3 bucks to launch but that will change real quick. the main problem i have with this place is the parking is elevated and is dog legged where you cannot see your boat when you go get your vehicle, that leaves all your stuff in your boat right out in the open. police are allways patrolling and the ramps are usually in very good shape. restrooms are over by the other ramp but that is still gated off. hope this helped.
