Hoping Ebare didn't hurt his chances to make the Elites too bad with a 1 fish day today. It's gonna hurt him but he was high enough up it might not be a season ender. Have the points updated yet? he was still in 2nd when I looked earlier. I'n guessing he falls to at least 6th if not 7th. Nah. He’s still gonna be in good shape.

It hurt hm but everyone beneath him caught them so it basically grouped up the Top 10 pretty tight. I would think with Fothergill in 1st and Meyer in 2nd they are pretty safe bets to qualift. Meyer has been crazy consistent his whole career. Ebare probly still gets in too as he's too talented to throw out multiple bad events. His bad day might have come at the best time. https://www.bassmaster.com/standings/?view=501

Is Beau Browning, Steven Brownings kiddo? Wasn’t Ebare on the Elites a few years ago or am I just remembering his name from something else?

Ebare hasn't fished the Elites but has ripped through all of the MLF divisions in short order. $1.1m in earnings the last 5-6 years, per his MLF angler page.

Ouch, thats nuts how bad one bad day can hurt you in the EQ. Looking it over even if head caught them he would still be in that jumble of 3rd -9th. Everyone in that range is catching them and he was really only gonna be a handful of points ahead no matter what. I figured his day was gonna drop him way down points wise but that cluster of guys arecall running so closely that it's crazy. Granted he would have been better off to catch them no doubt but he picked the best day to have a bad day. That slip up could have ended his run if things had played out any differently.

Saw Ebare go largemouth fishing about noon to put some fish in the well. Guess even that got tough. For 100,000 acre lake, those fish got lock jaw in a hurry

Those boys are in for tongue lashing if they make the jump, especially with Tucker's history already

I'd like to see Browning make it too then his Dad make it back eventually as well. Word is Randy Howel is possibly coming back and his son might as well. Currently I think his son is fishing some MLF stuff and is supposed to be a pretty fisherman. It's cool to see the kids of some of the longtime pros give it a shot. Marty Robinson's boys are damn good. One is doing well in MLF.
If this trend keeps up for another 3 years or so the Elites are gonna be absolutely stacked with young, hungry pros and it's gonna be a dogfight every single event more than it already is.

The bad part is i think the days of long careers at the top level are coming to an end. I think we will start to see that 10ish years will be the norm and 15 would be a long time at the top. We already see it starting really. As guys get older, get families, life happens and they cant devote 300 days on the water every year. With these young and talented guys coming up there wont be much room for error or your out
