I have about 15 and I should be leaving about 10 at home as I catch 95% of my fish on 3 of them .

12 in the rod box, 10 on deck.

I’m bad but I bring enough rods for two of us.

I think I have about 16 that I carry, if the wifey is fishing I will throw another 5 or 6 in the boat.

I used to keep about 10-12 rods in my boat many years ago. These days, I normally have 4-5 rods ln rod box and typically only have 2-3 on deck for the day of fishing. The other rods are kept at home and used sometimes depending on where I fish.

29-30, which is utterly ridiculous, but ya never know what you might need at any given point.

Nope. It's just silly.

The funny thing is when I fish in someone else's boat I get by with 4 or 5 no problem. And a small back pack of tackle.

Exactly the same...got my 3 fav rods I use and ignore the other 20 99% of the time haha

I am usually the same with a small tackle bag and usually 6 to 7 rigs.

I can get by with one, and a bag of senkos. Travel light.
