Try a cafeteria tray. Like you ate off in high school. Each compartment will only hold a certain amount of portion.
You can also try down sizing your plates. Using portion scoops In 2, 4, or 6oz. Anything that'll help you measure the food you're eating.
Another thing you can do is weigh your food. It can be a PITA but after you teach yourself what the correct serving size looks like. You can eyeball it. Just don't let your eyes get too big.
Chicken has the most meat to calories. Pork is slow digesting and will stay in your stomach longer. Beef is a high calorie protein and 4oz is a ball of meat the size of a large egg. 100grams of fish is 112 calories.

I moved all of our normal size plates and replaced them with smaller plates. Just made sure nothing fried was on them and never considered myself on a diet. Been about a year and went from 240+ to 190 and I tell myself that I will never gain that weight back and never ever smoked or dip again. Every so often I do get some nicotine 2mg mints when I am jonesing. Been a year and two months and if that’s what works for me then so be it. Find whatever you need

It's certainly easy to slip back. I'm finally under 200 for the first time in 15 years and I'm hoping to keep it off. Best of luck BigBobFTW

Courage - knowing something will hurt and still doing it. Stupidity - knowing something will hurt and still doing it. That’s why life is difficult
