I am going to post this because I really believe it matters who is giving the polygraph and how questions are asked. I have a friend who had won a couple tournaments and was leading the points in a ,major team circuit a few years ago and they are legit. He got asked a question after about his 4th polygraph of the season that is really disturbing. He got asked if he had ever considered cheating in a tournament. now before i get roasted think about that question and everything you all have read the past 2 years. This guy would never do anything like that but after sitting around a campfire the night before a tournament and having a beer or 2 and guys messing with him about how good they were doing, What if someone asked them if they are staking them out, hole setting, whatever. But if even thought about what theyb said would it be considered cheating. Guess what he answered yes on polygraph and passed. The questions in a polygraph can determine a lot. My tournament partner got asked if he’d ever broken a TPW law before. He said no. I’ve got several tickets from my youth to prove I have. Odd questions for sure.

Go back to the basic question. What do BASS, David Mullins, and Nick Hatfield (amongst others allegedly involved) have against JT that makes them all want to conspire against this kid? Usually the most obvious answer is the correct one.
And you can go back and forth all you want about how polygraphs aren't perfect, but it's BASS rules that if you fail you DQ. And what seems to be lost is that he failed multiple questions, not just the waypoint question that's garnering all the attention. JT's dad doesn't even address the second one.....soooo....

Not to mention they had the chance to really light him up over the tree cutting incident but only chose to give him a warning. If BASS were out to get him they would have really punished him then. Go back all season, BASS has given him plenty of coverage and has treated him pretty well.

Why do they not polygraph the olds?
Is it that most finish in last 25% of the field now? That why they call it the “cheater box”…..😆 The cheater box is between JT's ears

It's not just that he failed multiple questions. To fail the subject will show deception to the same question multiple times. Most examiners will ask a question two more times if the subject shows deception the first time asked and it is standard to ask every question (although not always worded the exact same way) twice no matter what the results were the first time asked.

What was the tree cutting incident? He and Trey McKinney cut down some trees on COE property at one of the TVA lakes tgey had an event on earlier this year. They were ticketed by the local law enforcement agency responsible for that area. I guess it's a TCA refuge area. A few weeks ago BASS sent out a release saying they were made aware of the incident and decided to just give them warnings.

They need to stop the college circuits. They are not sponsored by the school. Kids should be in college to go to college. By the time they've fished the under high school, high school and college circuits, they are better at electronics than any "old timers". So that's what they do.
I know these organizations are trying to grow fishing and create opportunity for new competitors. But the result is what you have now. Likely none ever fished a bass club tournament or a Thursday nighter when in effect, they are doing the same thing that the pros do for years. Sorry captains, if there is going to be junior league, somebody has to do it.

if they are kids as you say then there needs to be a kiddy league where the parents can act like they do at the other sports there are a lot of other folks that have come before them trying to earn a living at the sport of professional fishing.

You seem to be one of the more negative people on here, mostly have a negative slant on everything you comment on. No need to be down, just turn that frown upside down. So you never listed you and your children's accomplishments and net worth at age 19. Please lets see from where you are throwing stones.

My niece, Madison Channing Walls, was worth over 3M at age 6….several more by 18yrs….Now she is a heroine addict that usually sleeps under a bridge ( or some dudes bed) in Austin. Your argument of “accomplishing things by 18”’is dumb as [censored].

Parents can micromanage and push their kids to do things they may not want to do. Yes. At 18 they are “adults”. Yes, in professional “sports” there is no room for mommy and daddy on the field. Kids don’t accomplish anything by 18, that they are not forced to accomplish. Another issue with parents pushing kids to compete (on the parents behalf), is the kids never get to learn how to handle the conflicts that come along in life. They haven’t been taught. They’ve only been stakehorsed.
