Starlink got here on Tuesday but the mounting pole would not work on my house. The new mount pole arrives on Friday and I'll have it up and working Saturday morning. banana

Has anyone used 2 routers for more coverage?

Go mesh vs 2 routers. Many of today's routers have dual 5g and dual 2.4g in addition of guest 5g and 2.4g. If you want to be more robust and secure, you can go with an enterprise manages switch after the router, then cable in AP's (access points) in the areas to flood the area with wifi coverage.

I checked into the RV sat and learned the monthly service for that was $175.00 a month. That’s way to expensive for just 1 or 2 trips a month.

Here is JP's link again if you decide to go with Starlink. You can support TFF with it.

My daughters unit took 8 days to arrive. It used the standard wall mount.
Just two wood screws and it was mounted. In my old age it took a little to get the cable holders on but installing the dish and getting the unit booted up and running took about an hour and a half. About 25 minutes of that was for it to boot up and update the software.
They have been running it since Fri night and it has not missed a lick yet. Initially it showed about 48mbps but later in the evening she sent me a new speed test. 172Mbps.

Then they laid Frontier fiber, which is clearly better than Starlink and much cheaper.

Nothing beats fiber. Satellite targets those without fiber.
