I just renewed my couple weeks ago at Johnson branch. I asked them about a hike and was told that that is on hold.for now

That's funny, they Johnson Branch told me it was going up $25 in Sept. Mine was up in August so I did renew.

Bought mine in July , They said now that the pass is going to stay $ 70 . For now

I'm confused. If it's a regular Texas State Park then wouldn't the regular State Park pass cover it? The OP makes it sound like a special park pass is needed.
