The fact that all the Kamala voters in this thread are disagreeing with him shows that he is 100% correct. Can you even get yourself to a polling station? Bless your heart.

He says: "It’s easy. A 15 year old kid could easily do it with a few hours of tutelage." Yet after five years he has failed to learn it I can guarantee 100% he would beat you like a dirty rug in the 1800s with FFS. They are all really really good at it. Hell Milliken is one of the best in the world. Why didn't he win every tournament this year? It doesn't matter if your the best or worst, you still have to find the winning fish and manage them for 4 days.

Were there two Shyrock brothers or just one? FFS might be expediting the youth movement but it isn't a new phenomenon. There are two, ones on the Elites series, the other who has been at the Tour level a bit longer is on the BPT.

There is a pattern to the “ban scope” crowd. I won’t say it because some of yall get easily offended, but one thing they all have in common is white NB!
I have always liked Clark but I think he’s reached the end of the road as he sounds beat before he even puts it in the water. many cannot control their bowels and are not able to "perform" any longer, that is probably why they are mad all the time Lol 100 percent they are big mad.

I’m not really impressed with tournaments won at any level using FFS. The reason young guys use it is because they couldn’t beat guys like Clark or Hackney in a million years without it. lol I think the Clark’s of the world should be careful what they wish for. FFS gets taken away and then they have to dig into the excuse jar and pull out another one. Lol the man was AOY just a couple years ago...

I once loved watching bass fishing tournaments. Loved it. Kept up with all the guys and who was who and what they used and what they were good at... I turn it on now and hate it. Can't stand it. I don't like watching guys stare at their giant screens all the time, i don't care how many large fish they catch doing so. It sucks. I am 100% on board with Clark. Maybe FFS has brought in a whole new generation of fishermen into the sport, that really prefer video games over fishing, but i don't like it. It is not a sport.
I agree with some comments that were made earlier in the thread that the sponsors are going to dictate what is allowed and what isn't and I agree with that to some extent. However, maybe ratings are required for sponsors to justify their expenditures. I would think anyways. Guys like me aren't going to watch it anymore. But if 2 young guys who love it replace me as a viewer, then it isn't going anywhere... no matter how many old guys hate it.

The same negative statements were made when the original Lowrance green box came out in the 1950-60's. The present equipment is just an updated tool that is available to everyone, and you still have to actually catch the fish on a lure. I still feel the person who lives on a lake for decades and fishes that lake for competition has the biggest advantage of anyone, but that is just they way it is. Kind of like basketball, when a team has a 7 foot 6 inch player-- you still play the game to win even though they "may" have a clear advantage. I can see both sides of this debate, but professionally I don't agree with imposing limitations. On a local event, however, when everyone may not have access to the high end equipment, I can see why you might have rules on what equipment is acceptable with your event to perhaps level the playing field. No simple clear solution that will make everyone happy. Even if everyone was given the equipment, there is still a steep learning curve in order to take advantage of this equipment. I never was able to master the flasher Lowrance green box. You can't say the same negative statements were made when the original flasher came out. If you are that old, you know there was no real competitive bass fishing. I'm calling BS on that one.

At 66 years of age I guess I'm considered an olds. I did start wearing NB when I was 32 because of 3 back surgery's. Anyway, I don't care either way. I went on a crappie trip with Slewfoot. I had never used live scope or really knew much about it. But I loved it. It was in Jan on Lake of the Pines. You had to keep your first 25 fish. It allowed us to catch the nicer size fish. I actually had a blast using and watching it. I don't think it will be banned by Bass or FLW or MLF. Sponsor money helps pay to many bills. Me, I just love fishing period. I'm going to watch and keep up with it either way. Yall do make it an interesting subject though. Between all the bitching and disagreements.

One other thing I read and is 💯!
How many of the top hammers that dominated this year said in the last weigh in???…!!!
“Im looking forward to the off season and spending a lot of time in the deer stand”….
The young and hungry will be fishing every day from now till next season!
To those hunting, you are being outworked, so quit crying when you get throttled next season!
Entitled 100%. When one become cognizant the only thing they can do to maintain their lifestyle is being taken away by people that they perceive to be "below" them, they get desperate. Maybe some young buck has taken his woman from him a well? The two things that will make a middle aged man crazy is money and tail.

I wish I had it. If it ever gets any cheaper maybe Ican afford it but if I was trying to make a living fishing Iwould for sure have it. If you didn’t it would be like driving a Honda Civic in a NASCAR race you wouldn’t have much chance to win.

Ok compare his weights from them to now- it’s obvious he isn’t as good as he once was- that’s not a knock, just reality. If he is still catching the same weights his argument at least has a point, still not a great one but at least a point.

David Do they catch the fish in the screen or with a lure in the water?
